Just a couple quick things, the strategy that we're trying to implement starts in this formation.




During Sonic Breath, the person targeted will leave the ranged group, and strafe clockwise, while the ranged goes counterclockwise to avoid being hit.




That is why is important ranged stay loosely stacked to control that mechanic. Excuse the drawings, and correct anything I missed or explained improperly on this part.

Clicking the shields for Searing Flame.

As you see the timer counting down, that is the CD timer. He may not cast as the end of the CD. Wait to click the shield until you actually see him casting Searing Flame.

If you click it while its counting down, you'll just stun him, but he'll still continue to cast Searing Flame once he recovers.

With latency, its known to allow two stacks to pass by the time the shield dazes him. However in 4.1 they're changing the stacks to every 2s instead of every 1s.

If latency/lag becomes an issue, there is an addon called shieldblocker which block clicks onto the shield until Searing Flame is actually cast, so you can spam the shield and it won't click until cast begins. This was a problem with EU servers and latency. This addon is highly frowned upon by a lot of raiding guilds as a cheat or hack.

one thing i would change is the position of the melee dots should be on the opposite side of the dragon from the ranged since the Sonar Pulse should be shot towards the ranged. If the melee are between ranged and the dragon, they might very well get hit by the pulses, as opposed to being on the other side and not having to worry about the pulses coming towards them.

This addon has a display windows (very similar to BigWigs Proximity window), that you can move around, resize etc. The loudest people in the raid will be displayed in this window so you don't have to ask on ventrilo / chat if your raid members needs you to use the shields to reset the sound levels for them.
